New Year, Time For Resolutions

Well hello there!

I hope everyone had a fantastic and very Merry Christmas! I took some time away from blogging to spend with my family and loved ones, which was much needed. But of course after Christmas we turn our attention to the new year. We make resolutions of how we are going to change our lives over the course of the next 12 months. We set goals, and start creating plans to achieve them. But the honest reality is, most of us don't hold up on these resolutions. We either fall off the bandwagon, give up, or completely forget about what we had promised ourselves. I've pretty much fallen into one of those categories each and every year up to now. This year, I will make good on my promises!

By far the most famous New Year's resolution is to lose weight, and honestly, it's on my list as well. But this year, for the first time, I am not making this my sole priority. Instead I am going to first focus on making myself happy. I have noticed over the past few years that I just don't have the happiness in my life like I used to. I have let so many things wear me down, that I just settle for mediocre. This year, I am done with that sort of thinking. But my happiness also does include my weight. I would like to drop some pounds this year, and be in a better, healthier position this time next year than now.

With that said, I will be posting weight loss blogs twice a month with a weigh in, starting on the 1st and then again in the middle of the month around the 15th.

I will be posting my first weight loss blog on New Years day, so stay tuned for that. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
