Razor Red Knife Sharpener

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I have a bunch of kitchen knives around my home that were in desperate need of a good sharpening. With the Razor Red, that is just what they got!

Once I got the Razor Red in my home, I immediately emptied out my cutlery drawer, and pulled out all of my kitchen knives. Most of mine are a good 5 years old, if not older and have never been sharpened. Some are pairing knives, while a majority are serrated knives, all of which had gone dull. Setting up the Razor Red was so easy. I simply placed it on a clean flat surface, and pushed the top lever down to create the suction on the base which keeps the Razor Red in place. Trust me, this baby doesn't move once you have the lever down. On the Razor Red there is a arrow which shows you which direction to pull the knife. With this, you only go in 1 direction, never in back and forth motion. After about 10 good runs through the Razor Red I could visibly see that my knives were sharpened. I had my whole collection of kitchen knives sharpened in minutes!

I have had no issues with this since I got it. I do highly recommend placing a paper towel or something around the razor red to collect any shavings that may fall. The shavings are tiny, but not something you want to accidentally get mixed into your food, or have hanging around. Cleaning this is a breeze, I just rinse under warm water.

Overall I am impressed with the Razor Red. It has definitely helped bring new life to my old knives!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
