Review: Troublemakr Handmade Gold Foil Prints

If you are looking for a way to add a little modern simplistic art into your living spaces, then I have just the thing for you... gold foil prints!

I was very fortunate to become connected with Anastasia Zachos (pictured left), a fashion and graphic designer from Montreal, Canada. She operates a shop called Troublemakrin-which she sells her handmade gold foil prints. Her work is simply stunning, and designs of her clothing can be seen in and are sold in Wal-Mart, Target, Sears, Dillards, Bon Ton, and smaller clothing boutiques.

Anastasia was kind enough to allow me to visit her Etsy shop, Troublemakr and pick one of her amazing prints to review. Let me tell you, I sat for a good 15 minutes browsing through her prints, trying to narrow down which one I liked the best. She offers prints with quotes, graphics, timeless celebrities, and beloved cartoon characters. Finally, I narrowed it down to the 1 that was not only fun, whimsical, and reminiscent of my childhood. If you are familiar with Snow White, then you will recognize the print that I picked, "the fairest of them all". I'm not vain, but I just love the quote. It is a bit of a inspirational quote if you need that little ego boost haha!

The work on this print is FLAWLESS! Anastasia truly puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. The size I have is 8.5" x 11, which is perfect to hang onto a wall. I have chosen to place mine under a mirror that I have in my bedroom to just add to the effect! I added a frame to mine, and it just completed the look.

Shipping was perfect. The print came in a photo mailer, so it remained flat, clean and crisp. Shipping from Canada was fast as well!

I am very impressed with her work, and I cannot recommend checking out her shop, Troublemakr, enough! Below are some sample images of her work that you can expect to find in her shop!
