MY THOUGHTS:
For my daily use, I reach for my high end $100+ flat iron. It is great, but it's expensive. I've had it for a while, so it is getting up there in age, so I have been wanting to find a replacement for it should the day come when the ol' gal conks out on me. I have tried many flat irons under $50 and just never found them to deliver the results I want. However after using the Gurin, my thought's on that have changed drastically!

The packaging was nice, I love that it included a red satin pouch to put the flat iron in after use to keep it in good condition. It has a great range of heat, 140 degrees to 450 degrees, same as my high end flat iron. Nice on / off switch which my high end one does not have. So that's a bonus! The heat up time was a minute or less, I was super impressed by that! Once I used it on my hair, it didn't leave my hair feeling super hot and untouchable like my other flat iron does. It was straight without being fried. My hair felt soft, and manageable. None of that toasted yucky feeling that I tend to get when using heat on my hair.

Overall I am loving the Gurin flat iron. It did exactly what I expect from a flat iron, and it sells at a great affordable price! I cannot help but give this 5 big stars because it held up wonderfully in comparison to a high end expensive flat iron!
