Hongar Farms Gourmet Foods Benissimo Flavored Oils | Review + Giveaway

I am very excited to bring this review to you. I love cooking with olive oil, so when I was given the chance to try out Hongar Farms Benissimo flavored oils, I couldn't wait! I was able to try out the Mediterranean Garlic flavor, and it was love at first taste! Before I dive in and tell you my thoughts, let me share with you some information about Hongar Farms.

The roots of Hongar Farms date back 450 years ago to a farm nestled in the Austrian Alps, just east of Salzburg. Only the highest quality herbs, spices, oils, vinegars, produce and meats were used in the kitchens of Hongar Farms, and they were carefully sourced to please regional royalty, wealthy traders, and landowners. While our roots date back many centuries, our current flavor-infused oils developed into today's flavors between the 19th and 20th centuries. These beloved, time-tested recipes are available in the Benissimo product line.

Our products are 100% natural and contain up to 800 milligrams of omega-3 per serving. Producing a great tasting, healthy product is our highest priority, and our products contain no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or cholesterol.

As I mentioned above I love using olive oil in cooking. I like to pair it up with meats and veggies, it adds a nice flavor to my dishes. However plain olive oil can come dull, and I find that I have to use many spices and seasonings with it. With the Benissimo flavored oils, they come already packed with flavor.

I tried mine out with 3 separate dishes to see just how well the flavor of the oils would compliment my dish. The first dish I made was a pork tenderloin. I brushed some of the Benissimo Mediterranean Garlic oil on the top and bottom of the tenderloin, and placed it in the oven. The taste of the tenderloin when it came out was remarkable. It was so tender and moist, and had a very nice garlic and herb flavor. I was amazed by the flavor. I didn't need any other seasonings, or sauces to go with it. Next dish I made was steak tips. I always use olive oil to pan fry these in. I always add in some spices as well to give the steak tips a bit of a kick. This time around with my new oil, I just stuck to drizzling some of it in the pan, and cooked them in that alone. And again, the end flavor was amazing. Restaurant quality. My whole family enjoyed it. Now the final dish, I made some roasted potatoes, and drizzled them with the Benissimo oil. Baked them, and when they came out, the smell in my kitchen was amazing. Just like with the steak tips, the end result tasted like they were made in a restaurant. You can also find some amazing dinner recipes located in their recipe section of their website!

The added flavor the Hongar Farms Benissimo flavored oils give your dishes is amazing. Everything is perfectly complimented and restaurant quality dishes are so easy to achieve. Plus the price for these oils is unbeatable. If you purchase from their online store, they cost only $4.99 per bottle, discounted down from up to $8.99 retail.
