Reveal Your Glamorous Look with Mia Mariu | Review + Giveaway

Hi guys and gals! Today I want to share with you some AMAZING products that I was sent by Mia Mariu. If you are a loyal reader of mine, you might remember the name from a review that I did a few months ago on their Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser. I absolutely loved it, so naturally I was excited when I got the chance to work with the Mia Mariu company again!

I was sent many lovely cosmetic products to try out, and share my thoughts. If you didn't know, I am a makeup junkie. Seriously if there is a support group for makeup addicts like me please give me their number *he he he*! I am going to be going through each individual product, sharing with you it's product description, then I will share with you my thoughts on each. At the bottom you will find the look I created using all the products shown. But it doesn't stop there, you will also find a giveaway section where you can enter to win ALL of the products shown here so you too can Reveal Your Glamorous Look! Don't worry, you will be able to pick the colors that suit you! Alright, lets dig in!

MINERAL BLUSHOur Mineral Blushes are a light velvety powder that sweeps on silky sheer color easily and evenly providing a natural blushed skin tone.  Its light-diffusing quality allows for a mistake-proof, flawless application as well as the color remaining true all day.

MY THOUGHTS- I chose the color Corazon de Melon. Most of my current blushes are light pinks or coral shades, so I wanted to try something a bit darker that would be great for fall. To me its kinda like a mauve shade. I used a very little amount on my brush that way I could build up the color to my preference. Beautiful and gives a very natural look. Feels great on the skin. 2 thumbs up!

HYDRATING STICK GLOSS- Our Hydrating Stick Gloss is a revolutionary hydrating product combining color and hydrating gloss in a stick form.  It has a buttery, creamy feel that nourishes your lips while delivering color in a sheer and sophisticated finish.

MY THOUGHTS-  I tried the color Encanto. It is like a sheer rosy red hue. It has a satin type finish, with a very nice shine. The color goes on sheer, but it is easy to build up color and make it a bit more bold. It truly feels so smooth on the lips, very creamy and soft. I absolutely love this. I am not one who looks good in normal lipstick, it is always too bold for me. This being sheer, I was able to layer it just enough to where I got a nice color payoff, without screaming "hey I'm wearing lipstick".  2 thumbs up!

VOLUMIZING AND LENGTHENING MASCARA- Our Volumizing Mascara extends and separates the thinnest, shortest, hard-to-reach lashes by lengthening each lash while delivering just the right amount of mascara without clumping.  Our formula contains rich dark pigments to enhance lash color for maximum drama.  It is clump-free, fiber-free and is suitable for contact lens wearers.  Enriched with vitamin B5.

MY THOUGHTS- For this, I used the color Azabache. I love this mascara, however I wasn't a fan of the brush. I just have a personal preference for the larger wider type of wands verses this one that is very traditional style. I tried using the wand that comes with this, and I just didn't like the coverage it gave me. However to test the mascara itself, I used one of my favorite wands with it and that made all the difference. I was able to apply the mascara and achieve nice full looking lashes. I am giving this 2 thumbs up because the mascara itself is great, and the wand problem is more of personal preference.

EYE LINER- Our Intense Black Eye Liner Pencil is a smoothly textured eye pencil that provides precise definition and easy, smooth application.  The pencil applies evenly without "dragging" or pulling the delicate eye area which produces a clean precise line without smudging.

MY THOUGHTS- For this, I also tried the color Azabache. Great black color. Glides on your skin smoothly without dragging. Great for lining the eyes as well as the waterline. When I use eye liners, whether they be liquid, gel, or pencil, I like to always set them with eye shadow. So with this after I applied it to my lash line, I went over it using an angled brush, and a matte black eye shadow. I find this helps any liners stay put for quite a while! Again, 2 thumbs up!

LOOSE MINERAL EYE SHADOW LINER- Our Mineral Shadow Liners and Shadow Duos are made with pure minerals and luxurious color pigments.  Their creamy powder texture provides an immediate release of intense luminous color with superior blending for a long-wearing, crease-resistant application.  When mixed with water, you can use it as a beautiful long wearing eyeliner.

MY THOUGHTS- I tried these in the colors Azabache and Caramelo. The Azabache is a glittery dark grey / black color. This one is great for using wet as a liner to add a pop of glitter and sparkle to a makeup look. The color Caramelo is a fantastic nude brown shade. I used this just as a loose shadow, and it was a great all over lid color. It provides a beautiful color, without being too much. I absolutely loved these, and I have been reaching for them daily!

I love all the products that I got to try out. These are great for all makeup lovers, and I would also recommend them to teens who are starting to get into makeup, but don't want to over do it. These products let you have that beautiful natural look without the 10 pounds of makeup. With the holidays coming up, these would also make great gifts!

  1. My tip is if you have dark colored eyebrows go with indian eyeliner to help define them. It's one of my favorite products now because of how pigmented it is

  2. To make my eyeshadow look smoother and stay on longer I put coverstick on my eyelids before putting on eyeshadow. Works great.

  3. I love mineral makeup, I do prefer pressed shadows for ease of use, but loose always seems more pigmented. I love blush. I have so much of it. And mascara, I have tried almost every brand of drugstore and non drugstore mascara.

  4. I allways start out with a good moisturizer

  5. I like to line my lips so my lipstick doesn't bleed. Then I take a tissue place it over my lips and then brush translucent powder over the tissue covering my lips to seal in my lipcolor.

  6. White eyeliner on your lower lid! It makes your eyes look bigger and it makes them pop! :)
