I am a skincare junkie, and I have used MANY types of facial clay mask type of products over the years. I was very excited to try this one out because I had yet to find a clay mask that really worked well for my skin, and that didn't stink to high heaven. I have used this Indian Healing Clay a couple times now, and I feel I can give my true honest thoughts with everyone.

I was really surprised when this arrived and I opened it to see that this comes in powder form. I have never had a clay mask come like that. With this, you mix 1 part clay with 3 parts water. I absolutely love this idea because I have had numerous clay masks arrive dry, or dry out within a few uses. Some will also start to go rancid, and become icky. With this, I can take out the amount I want to use, and use it right there on the spot. It won't dry out, and it won't go bad on me before I can use up the jar. This to be is a genius idea. The next factor that I like is that the natural scent of this clay isn't nearly as bad as others I have used in the past. This one does have a natural type of scent, but nothing offensive. And finally I really like just how soft this clay leaves my skin feel. Clean, fresh, moisturized, and fantastic.

It took me a good amount of time to get the mixture at the right consistency. I followed the directions perfectly, and even used a table spoon measure to evenly mix the parts. 1 part clay to 3 parts water. Simple. However each time the clay just didn't come together quite right, and I'd have to start over. It was always too dry, so then I'd add a tiny bit of water, and I couldn't for the life of me get the water to absorb and thin it out. Finally after 5 attempts I got a decent thickness, and was able to use it. I think this takes a bit of trial and error to know just exactly how much to mix together to make it just right.

At the end of the day, I really do like this. Compared to other clay face products, this has to be in my top 10. By far one of the best clay masks I have used thus far.

Please note that I was sent this product complimentary to try out in my home in order to share my honest experience, thoughts and review.
