Evian® Brumisateur® Facial Spray | First Impression + Giveaway

This week I have had the chance to use the Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray. If you are unfamiliar with facial sprays, a lot of people use them to assist in a flawless makeup application. The Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray is made with natural mineral water, and can be used on all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.

For my initial first impression, I tried this out in a few ways that this might help your makeup. I normally don't use a facial spray with my makeup, although I have in the past. My makeup application techniques have vastly improved since then, so I was pretty excited to see how this would work.

Use #1- After Exfoliating. I used this after I did my normal routine of exfoliating my skin and before I apply my moisturizer. I must say that the fine mist on my skin felt fabulous! So refreshing and crisp feeling. I allowed it to soak into my skin for 2 minutes, then applied my favorite moisturizer.

Use #2- Dampening Sponge. Next I sprayed this on my cosmetic sponge that I use for my liquid foundation. I only did a few sprays of this because I didn't want to saturate it. I then applied my foundation, and it did make the blending process smoother. However it did slightly sheer down my foundation. If you are looking for a full coverage effect I'd skip doing this. However if you are like me and have pretty clear skin, then this helps in making your makeup not look caked on.

Use #3- Setting My Makeup. Honestly I am not a fan of setting my makeup. I rarely use powder to begin with because my skin is dry. However for this I did apply a powder on after my foundation. I then sprayed a light mist of this on my skin, and honestly I felt like I had so much product on my face. I don't really like the feeling of having powder on my face, but then adding on the mist just made me feel it even more. Plus the mist kinda clung to any of my peach fuzz hair that is on my face. I just wasn't a fan of using it for this.

Use #4- Intensifying Eye-shadow Color. This is one of the first tricks of learned when it comes to makeup many years ago, and it is a tried and true method. Take your brush, grab the color that you want on your brush (do not use with matte finish eye shadows), and lightly spray the mist onto the color. Wait a few seconds, then apply to the lid. This will make your colors look much bolder, and give you a slightly cream eye shadow feel and finish. Some people like to spray their brush fir!st, then pick up the color but I always found the above method to work best for me.

Use #5- Revive Makeup During The Day. This is another thing that I am just not a fan of. After I had my makeup on for 3 hours, I took the Evian Facial Spray and lightly spritzed my face. I ended up feeling like I was just coming out of the gym and had sweaty face. Its my personal preference, but I am just not a fan of spraying this on my face after my makeup is done.

Use #6 -After Workout Refresh. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE using this after my workout to give me a nice refreshing boost. It feels so good on my skin!

So after using this quite a bit for many different uses I have to say that I like the Evian Facial Spray. It is helpful in achieving a flawless makeup application. I only wish that the prices of the Evian Facial Spray were a bit more cheaper. They are on the expensive side, especially for what they are. Overall I'd give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.
