Diet Diaries #10 - I Can See A Difference

I am terribly late with this bi weekly posting. I really need to get into a better routine with these weight loss blogs! Work has been busy, plus I am getting ready for a vacation, thus I have been a busy bee!

This bi weekly weigh in didn't quite go as planned, I gained. However I was expecting it since it was that time of the month. I won't lie, I wanted the biggest bar of chocolate you could imagine. Send me to live with Willy Wonka for a week and I would have been happy! Hello chocolate river! This week I gained back 2 pounds.

The past 2 weeks I have been getting back into working out. I am taking it slow and listening to my body. My foot is still sore, and has its moments. Because of my vacation coming up, I don't want to push it too much. But I am slowly getting back to my old routines. Slowly but surely I'll get there!

One thing I have noticed is that I can actually notice my weight loss now in myself. I still have a long way to go, but I can see that I am losing weight. Plus I have people who know me mentioning how I look thinner, which of course is always nice to hear. It is something that makes me feel good, plus it also gives me that motivation to never let myself go back to my old ways. I never again want to go through what I am going through now. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful journey I am on. But it's not something I ever want to repeat. I want to reach my goals, however long it takes me to get there, and stay there.

Also this week I may go through and do a break down of my diet routine. What day is my cheat day, some things I eat, and things I no longer eat. Stay tuned!
